COOPSKILLS is a Cooperation Partnership of public and private Organizations, Municipalities, Chambers and their companies, VET organizations and other civil organizations active in the field of education and training in Municipality level.
ACRONYM Ltd. participates as a partner at COOPSKILLS project under EU initiative Erasmus+, having the role of the Scientific and Technical coordinator.
The main objective of the project is to use the principles and the impact of UNESCO’s “Learning Cities” network and create the “Learning Companies” network, that effectively mobilizes its resources in every sector to promote inclusive learning, facilitates learning for and in the workplace, extends the use of modern learning technologies, enhances quality and excellence in learning; and fosters a culture of learning throughout life. This can be achieved by setting, operating, networking “Reskilling Labs” in Municipality level under the coordination and operation jointly of the Municipalities, local Chambers and VET providers.
Main target groups are in-transition workers, unemployed inactive people, from declining sectors to growing sectors in need of skills towards the green and digital economy.
COOPSKILLS project will enable and motivate companies to increase the quality of their activities, to develop and reinforce their networks, to increase their capacity to operate jointly, boosting internationalization of their activities, through exchanging & developing new practices and methods on upskilling and reskilling workers.
