EU-ALMPO / EU Active Labor Market Policies Observatory

ACRONYM Ltd. participates as a partner at EU-ALMPO (EU Active Labor Market Policies Observatory) project under EU initiative HORIZON, having the role of the Scientific Coordinator of a strong partnership of eight (8 ) partners from five (5) countries (EL, ES, IT, PL, DE).

The EU-ALMPO introduces the establishment of the EU ALMP Observatory, an innovative entity aimed at reshaping the approach toward ALMPs within the European Union. The primary goal of this observatory is to address and rectify the prevalent deficiencies in the formulation, execution, and evaluation of ALMPs among EU member states, seeking to create a comprehensive framework to guide policymakers in the development, implementation, and scrutiny of ALMPs, ensuring more effective and equitable labor market interventions.

The observatory plans to leverage a centralized information technology platform, augmented with sophisticated AI tools. These technological advancements will provide indispensable support to policymakers, researchers, and labor market professionals in designing ALMPs that are both innovative and inclusive. The AI tools integration promises to enhance the analytical capabilities of the observatory, enabling a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the complexities associated with ALMPs.

EU ALMPO is envisioned to serve as a critical resource for labor market policy, combining advanced methodologies, comprehensive data sets, cutting-edge technology, and expert insights. This will empower stakeholders across the EU to develop more effective labor market policies but also more responsive to the dynamic needs of the workforce, facilitating the improvement of labor market integration and skill enhancement among workers, focusing on vulnerable groups.

The EU ALMP Observatory addresses the current challenges faced by the labor market, anticipates future trends and requirements, meets the diverse needs of labor market stakeholders, and aspires to become an indispensable tool in the realm of labor market policy, towards a more inclusive and resilient European labor market.
