The project involved providing technical consulting services to support the Service for the Management of European and Development Programs (YDEAP) as the Designated Authority of the European Internal Security Funds and the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund for the 2014-2020 fiscal period.
Key activities included:
- Assisting in reviewing the necessary documents and information to submit the annual balance payment request.
- Assisting in preparing the necessary reports submitted to compile the annual implementation report by the Responsible Authority and supporting the Monitoring Committee’s work.
- Assisting with administrative checks to verify the delivery of co-financed products and services and the expenditures declared by beneficiaries.
- Supporting the maintenance of YDEAP's action monitoring system.
- Assisting with entering the required information for tracking and monitoring actions in the Integrated Information System (IIS) of the Ministry of Economy & Development.
- Assisting in drafting and submitting proposals to the EU in response to open and closed calls.
- Helping to identify partners (public and private entities) in EU Member States to submit joint proposals to the EU.
- Assisting during the evaluation phase of funding applications.
- Preparing advisory notes regarding the technical specifications in tender announcements for procuring technological and information systems, buildings, and other electronic equipment, ensuring the adequacy and completeness of technical specifications.
- Participating in meetings and/or preparing advisory notes to define technical solutions for projects and actions managed by YDEAP.
