The project involved providing specialized technical support services to the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (MoERA) and its competent services for the design and implementation of measures to reduce and prevent Early School Leaving (ESL).
The Technical Advisor offered services to ensure adherence to timelines and coordination among the competent services and agencies supervised by MoERA, so that the measures for reducing and preventing ESL could be effectively designed and implemented.
As part of its responsibilities, the Technical Advisor collected data and examined the possibility of funding the proposed actions and interventions from MoERA's competent agencies during the 2014–2020 Programming Period. This was done while taking into account both international experience and the specific needs of the Greek educational system.
